Castles Country Restaurant in Mechanicsburg

Loved the service. It was very homey. Which is what led me to stop by for dinner. Make sure to try out the homemade breads and I personally say the meatloaf was above par. Definitely worth a visit.

Good food just a nice family owned place to have a family meal... I suggest the fish dishes and their red skins potatoes... or their Reuben... it does not matter what fish you get they make it delicious

This place is doubtless one of the tastiest place in the region. Whenever I come to this place I am remarkably satisfied. They always keep their very high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they provide. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.

Who serves chips with breakfast?! Not like fries but actually greasy potato chips 😬 yikes! Food was bland and we just won't be back.

Epic food that always tastes great and quick service. My one complaint is it's cash only. They do have an atm next to the checkout area though.

Highly disappointed in how much this place has went downhill. The food was cold and looked old, the portions were smaller and the prices were higher than when I was here a month or so ago. I use to go here a lot but I will not be returning after my experience this time. You are going to lose all of your customers if you don’t fix the food situation to match the higher prices. In order to raise prices, you need quality food. There was a time that your quality of food was never an issue. I am also disappointed that my favorite waitress is no longer there. The young lady that always wore cowboys boots, Grace. Such a pure heart and hard worker. In all the time that I have came to your restaurant, I have seen so many different faces and it is quite bothersome that it seems you can’t keep good help very long.

This place is amazing! When have bought 3 trucks from Dave Kelh Chevrolet and always stop here to eat while we wait on the paperwork.

Cannot get enough of this place. The food is always good and the prices are really fair. If you haven't been here I recommend going and if you've been there before I recommend going again.

Friendly atmosphere and excellent food!

My husband and i have been wanting a good fish dinner......we hadn't been there for about a year. Oh my gosh the cod fish dinner was awesome! Good friendly service, and not a long wait. The French fries yum crisp but still had that great taste of potato and the slaw with homemade bread. All I can say is give it another try the people and food are great! Kudos to the owner and his employees, thank you....I think I Got out of cooking for a nite a week. 😊

Amazing food. This is our go to for breakfast on the weekend and dinner through the week if we dont want to cook. Really affordable as well!

Was in town to see a friend and stopped here for lunch. The place had excellent service, and a nice atmosphere. Huge portions for very cheap price, I almost thought I had the wrong bill lol. Food was excellent too! Only complaint is I wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

The breakfast here is amazing and the portions are HUGE! Granny’s Everything Omelet will keep you full from sunup to sundown. The prices are fantastic, too. The dinner isn’t bad, but it can’t compete with breakfast.

Bland food at an average price, waiter didn't ask us how our food was, and even took my boyfriend's plate before he was done eating. Two waitresses were gossiping over our table as well as peering out over the wall at the customers, and our check didn't include the total. Unsure if we will be back..

The food has been consistently good every time we come in. The service is excellent and so much of the food is prepared from scratch. Pies, cobblers, soups, don't miss the hot bacon salad dressing...oh my, make the trip

I would drive 2hrs again for this food! We had the fried chicken and all you can eat cod. I dare you to have enough room for seconds. Wonderful staff! Love. Love. Love!!!

When we pulled up here there wasn't one car in the parking lot so I was a little worried. However the food was excellent and the service was great!

Owners are great people! Great food try a Daffy Burger and Dairy Parlor Fries, so good.

Decent food. Service was better. Ham and chicken were ok but not exceptional. Peas and fruit looked like out of a can. Roll included.

A phenomenal country food experience. Maddie's Sweet Tea was THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Honestly I wasnt sure if I would be comfortable there but Grace and Maddie and the LARGE food portions made it a great experience.

Good food down to earth people really take time to know there customers

Great service and food is what you would expect for a diner-esqe restaurant. Everyone is super friendly. They don't accept credit/ATM cards for payment, so if you don't have the cash, you've got to go to the ATM (inside their restaurant) and withdraw cash. Would have given another star if paying were more convenient.
